Generally, UnionBank’s quick salary loan program is intended to help individuals who need a small sum of money for a little while. However, as per UnionBank’s policies, the said loan offer is only available to the bank’s pre-qualified customers who have received an SMS and/or email notification. This will include a unique invite code that they can use to gain access to the website. 

Meanwhile, Qualified Payroll account holders with the use of the UnionBank Online App, will be notified via SMS and a button prompt within the app.

How Much Money Can You Borrow With This Loan

The following are the minimum and the maximum loanable amounts under UnionBank’s official website:

Minimum loan amount– 1,000.00 PHP

Maximum loan amount – 250,000.00 PHP 

It should be noted that the loanable amounts are still subject to the applicant’s or borrower’s current salary amount as determined by the pre-qualification results. Moreover, payment terms range from 1-15 months, and there is a processing fee that must be paid, which will be deducted from the loan proceeds.

Below are the steps on how to apply for a quick salary loan from home: 

1. Go to the official website of UnionBank or open the UB Online App. If not yet registered with the UB Online app, customers can download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.  
2. Click “Personal” and then “Loans,” and choose “Salary”
3. Provide the company name or invite code, last five (5) digits of the payroll ATM card number, email address, and mobile number. 
4. Click “Apply” 

For Qualified Payroll account holders, a “You-qualify-for-a-loan” button will appear from the main dashboard. Simply click that and follow the process by entering the received Invite Code, Last 5 Digits of ATM payroll OR 12-digit payroll account number, Email Address, and Mobile Number. 

Once the application is successful, the applicant / borrower will be notified by the bank.

Applicant / Borrower Requirements in Applying for Quick Salary Loan 

• Applicant / borrower must be 21 to 65 years old at the time of loan application. 
• The applicant / borrower must be a Filipino Citizen and must have an office or residence landline. 
• If the applicant / borrower is currently employed, a gross monthly income of at least 15,000 PHP is a must. 
• If self-employed, the applicant / borrower should have at least two (2) continuous years of profitable operations in the same line of business. Moreover, the minimum gross monthly income for Metro Manila should be 30,000 PHP.
