Why Choose Bayad Center

Bayad Center has been an excellent payment partner for Filipinos nationwide. Many people prefer to use it as their mode of payment because it’s convenient to use and accessible.

Here are the other reasons why:

Accepts Debit and Credit Card Payments

Bayad Center is a form of digital wallet where its users can cash into their Bayad Center account. But it also supports payment processing aside from functioning as an e-wallet. The Bayad Center app also allows secure payment processing through Visa and Paymaya. The customers can freely choose the payment method they would like to use comfortably.

Open 24/7

Customers can make their payments any time of the day instead of waiting in line during payment due dates because they can access the app 24/7. Payments are always on time, and customers can complete multiple transactions in one sitting.

Secure Online Transactions

The most critical consideration of people when making payments online is security. Unfortunately, there are a lot of frauds and scams when making transactions on the internet, and online payments are not an exception. Hackers and cybercriminals target most online financial transactions. Bayad Center recognizes this, and that’s why it requires an OTP for each transaction. It serves as an added layer of protection to prevent the accounts from getting hacked.

Customers Can Pay for Multiple Services

Bayad Center’s digital wallet is undoubtedly unique because it’s one of the few e-wallets in the market that can accommodate almost all local billers. Aside from utilities, the services also extend to government payments, school fees, insurance, real estate, and even memorial payments.

Frequently asked questions

What is needed to pay my bill?

It depends on the bill you are paying for. Account number is required for some billers such as Meralco, Smart, and PLDT. Others need a unique reference number such as NBI. This information should be present in the Statement of Account given by the Biller, whether physically or electronically.

What are the fees involved in processing the payment?

There are two (2) fees placed on top of your bill amount. These are as follows:

  • Service Fee: Refers to the fee imposed by Bayad Center per transaction.
  • Convenience Fee: Fee imposed by the biller in processing the bill through this Online Channel. By May 1, Bayad Center will impose a PHP 15.00 fee which will cover the cost of processing using the available payment options.

*Note: Some billers may exclude the convenience fee.

What are the payment options available?

You can use your Visa, Mastercard, JCB (Credit, Debit, or Prepaid) and PayMaya Wallets for payment processing.

Am I able to save the biller details for my succeeding transactions?

Yes, definitely. You can save the biller details after the transaction has been made. This feature would apply to those billers that have bill information that rely on the use of an Account Number. You can also choose to put an Alias or Biller Nickname for easier reference.

Upon completion of the payment, how will I know if the payment transaction is successful?

After providing your card information and upon completion of the 3D Secure Authentication (if applicable), the payment gateway page would prompt a real time notification on the status of the transaction. You will also receive an email and SMS once the payment transaction is successful.

Now that the transaction is successful, does this mean that my payment would be posted to the biller?

You would see in the customer dashboard the status of the transaction paid for. Below are the status category for reference:

  • Successful: Transaction is successful and this would be posted to the biller within 2 days.
  • Pending: Transaction is being processed with the biller. This should be updated to a Successful or Failed status within 15 minutes.
  • Failed: Transaction is failed and the transaction would be refunded back to the customer
How many accounts can a person register, can I use the same details with a different email address?

Yes, there are no limits in creating an account as long as you register using a unique email address to sign up.

How many attempts are allowed to enter the OTP?

There are five (5) attempts allowed, and if you have reached the maximum attempts allowed, your account will be locked. To unlock your account, click the forgot password button to reactivate.

What will I do if my smartphone or laptop are compromised? Is my account safe from any hacking or fraud transactions?

You can do two options:

  • For Facebook SSO, you can remove your Bayad Online account in your Facebook. Simply go to Apps and Websites and unlink your account.
  • For Facebook and Gmail SSO, you can call or message our Customer Support team ([email protected] and +632 8672-5777) to block your account immediately.

Conclusion

Convenience is what most Filipinos look for in the services that they avail nowadays. Times are changing and the methods to which most people conduct their businesses have also changed. Having Bayad Center as a trusted wallet app can definitely make the lives of most Filipinos simpler and easier.
