Types of PNB Personal Loans

 

Under Personal Banking in PNB, there are two types of loans that can be applied for: Housing or Home Loan and Auto Loan. 

 

Housing or Home Loan

Renting or staying with your parents when you already have a family of your own is not always an ideal situation but affording your own house and lot is not an easy feat as well. With PNB, Filipinos get the financial boost they need by applying for a Housing Loan.

 

Home Loan Purposes

  • Purchase of Lot, House & Lot, Condominium unit, Townhouse
  • House Construction, Home Improvement
  • Refinancing / Take-out of existing loans

 

Loan Features

Minimum Amount:

  • Lot – P500,000 (within and outside Metro Manila)
  • House & Lot, Townhouse & Condominium 
    • within Metro Manila – PHP750,000
    • outside Metro Manila – PHP500,000

 

Maximum Amount

  • Up to 70% of the appraised value of the property for lot
  • Up to 80% of the appraised value of the property for house & lot, townhouse & condominium

 

Loan Tenure

  • For lot purchase and house improvement – up to 10 years
  • For house and lot, townhouse, or condominium purchase or house construction – up to 20 years

 

Interest Rate – Depends on the prevailing home loan rate at the time of availment.

 

Eligibility

  • At least 21 years old upon loan application and not older than 65 years old at the time of loan maturity.
  • Must be a duly recognized Filipino citizen.
  • With a guaranteed source of income thus, the applicant must be either employed or self-employed.
  • With good credit history.

 

Application Requirements 

  • Completely filled up and signed Housing Loan Application Form
  • Photocopy of 2 Valid Government-issued identification cards
  • Appraisal Fee of P3,500 (non-refundable)
  • If with co-maker/co-borrower/attorney-in-fact, separate application form would be needed.
  • Data Privacy Client Consent Form

Auto Loan

Getting your dream car most often requires a large amount of cash but with PNB Auto Loan, this worry will no longer be of your utmost concern. This is because this type of loan is made available for Filipinos who desire to purchase a brand new or second-hand vehicle. PNB Auto Loan provides its applicants a Php 300,000 loanable amount up to 80% of the price (if a brand new car) or 75% of the appraised value (if a second-hand vehicle).

 

Eligibility

  • Must be an existing PNB depositor.
  • At least 21 years old upon loan application and not older than 65 years old at the time of loan maturity.
  • Must be a duly recognized Filipino citizen or Foreigner but is based in the Philippines with valid Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR).
  • With a stable source of income such as being permanently employed for at least one (1) year or self-employed with a business operating for at least three (3) years.
  • Must be earning at least Php 50,000 per month. Otherwise, a co-borrower will be required.
  • With good credit history.

 

Application Requirements

For General Applicants:

  • Accomplished and signed application form
  • Two (2) Valid Government-issued identification cards (e.g. Drivers License, Passport, UMID, etc.) 

 

For Employed Applicants:

  • Payslip or Certificate of Employment with Compensation
  • Current Income Tax Return (ITR) 

 

For Business Owners:

  • Business documents with DTI Registration
  • Current Income Tax Return (ITR) 
  • Current Audited Financial Statements
  • Bank Statements for the last six (6) months

  1. Visit the website of PNB and choose the type of personal loan you would want to apply for.
  2. You may use PNB’s calculator to check how much of its loan amount options you can manage to borrow.
  3. Download and fill out the loan application form.
  4. Submit the application form to the nearest branch of PNB and wait for your loan approval.
